Every lender has different late payment penalties and policies. Generally speaking, if you are late on a payment, a lender may charge you with a late penalty. Therefore, it is important to set yourself a reminder so that issues of late payment or non-payment do not occur. Because non-payment and late payment penalties differ by lender, please contact the lender you are connected with directly if you have any concerns or issues repaying your loan. Some lenders may allow you to add a debit card to your account to help avoid late payments.
